other与the other用法区别
other 表示“另一个或另一些”是泛指,当形容词或代词用
the other与other同义,是特指
如：
I have two pens.One is red and the other is green.
the other 是特指的另外一个
other 是除自己外的“别人”
others是其他人,一般是3个或以上
other 表示“其他的”或者“另一些”
是形容词 后面加名词 如果是可数多用复数 some children like apples,other children like bananas.
the other
表示范围内的另一个（范围内一共两个）
we have two hands.one is on the left,the other is on the right.
other后既可接可数名词复数形式又可接不可数名词,如：可数,other pencils 其它的铅笔,other students 其他的学生.不可数other tea 别的/其它的茶,other information 别的/其它消息.
the other 定指其它的……,其后可接可数名词和单数,如：
the other book 另外的一本书,
the other map 另一张地图,
其后也可跟可数名词的复数形式,如：
the other flowers 其他的花朵,the other teachers 其它的老师们,还可以接不可数名词,如：the other water 剩下的水,the other beer 别的啤酒
others 其用法相当于复数名词,此词不能用作定语,表示的意思是“不具体的某些东西”,如：
This chemical is poisonous .Others are poisonous ,too .( others = other chemicals )
但是如果others前用了the ,则表示具体的别的东西.如：
I don’t want these books .Please give me the others .( the others = the other books
the other的用法
the other的用法如下：other的意思是：其他的，形容词，做定语修饰名词，放在名词前，定语就是用来限定限制那个名词the other，可以作主语：其他的，另一个，也可以做定语放在名词前，意思一样，但是这几个词中凡是前面加定冠词the的都是有范围的，比如那群人中等等。主要词组:one...the other 就是：一个……另一个……的意思，举个例子：One of them is blue，the other ones are purple. 它们的其中一个是蓝色的，其他的是紫色的。这里the other作的是定语修饰后面的ones，如果把ones去掉也成立，the other作这个分句的主语，表示前句them中除了前面的one以外其他的那些用the others就是省略了后面的名词复数，the other则后面还需要加名词，用法方面除了这一点和the other是一样的例如： One of the children likes reading，the others like singing. 后句可替换为the other students like singing.这些孩子们中的一个喜欢阅读，其他的喜欢唱歌。some……,other(s)……the other(s)是个固定搭配，意思是有的……有的……还有的……是泛指，属于没有范围，比如：Some children likeXX,others/other students likeXX,theothers/the other students likeXX.有的学生喜欢XX，有的学生喜欢XX，还有的学生喜欢XX。
